Its quite a tiring day! i had tuition at 10am! >< then met darling at yishun and we went to Ikea @ Tampines to hunt for a new table! a table with bookshelf...
We're looking for the table! This slef-help area is soooooooooo big! Rack 1 to 32! each rack has N sections -.- (i forgot what N is) okay, its just big! much bigger than the one @ Queenstown >< i feel that i have betrayed the Queenstown Ikea because i used to shop there! ><
Another purpose of the trip is to get this super beautiful lamp.. is this considered a "lamp"? i dont know.. anyway.. it just brightens up the room! you can see how BRIGHT it is.. hahaaaa... and the light bulbs are sold separately >< and they cost more expensive the lamp itself! Ikea really knows how to dig my money from pocket.. erkkkk... okay, what is next?!
New quilt and quilt cover and pollow covers! so pretty! it is not cheap okay? it costs me SGD 49.. but i believe you get what you pay! a 49-dollar set is really different from a 12-dollar set! we have made comparison... Doggie is the first one to use those things! what a lucky dog.. but sadly, there is no matching bed sheet....
I have spent a forture today! ok i shall go and give more tuitions!! yeah!!! Although its very tired after shopping in Ikea for about 3 hours, i managed to motivate myself to jog 6 rounds around the park! yeah!! bye bye to some fats! I felt really sorry for my friend..her pretty face was ruined by me! i had no clues about how to start drawing portrait..and we've got some problems regarding the sitting arrangement, hence, we could not get a good view of each other..so please dont kill me! as for the second drawing, i think its much better..as least it really looked like the guy that i was drawing..or i shall say, at least it looked like a real human!
Here comes the retribution of ruining someone else's face! because my pretty face was ruined too >< look the first portrait! it looked horrible and terrible!!! and the compensation would be nice portrait of myslef! the second one! :D When i was being a "model", i kept moving here and there! hahaa.. it reached the point that the teacher asked the rest of the class not to talk, especially telling jokes! so that i could sit still with no expression.. hahaha... Although there's no more drawing class, i still owe the teacher a drawing assignment! grrrrr!!!! Patapon 2Patapon 2 is out on PSP.. i finally digged out my psp JUST for this game! New stages, new mini-games and many other new features! It combines fighting with music rhythms! Its a game that you definitely do not want to miss.

Ok, i said i would be missing! but i am still here.. haha.. its not possible to do report for the whole day, right?! yea! Resident Evil 5My favourite game Resident Evil 5 has come out in both xbox and play station 3 (ps3). damn! how about Wii??! i have read numerous news regarding this issue, and most of them said Capcom is not gonna produce RE 5 for Wii..! >< if that is the case, i am gonna boycott Capcom! but i have decided to buy the PC version if it is available!! (it is a bit contradicting, isn't it?!) I dont care! i want to play RE 5!!
Talking about game console, i have not been touching my PSP for..urrm..eh..ages! i even forgot where i put it.. hee! i have the urge to get Nintendo DS! because i think there're more games for DS and they are cuter games!!

How? i dont know.. however, when the thought of changing everything and starting anew comes across my mind, i would rather stick to Windows Live -.- [pure laziness] Another drawing...I had a 3-hour drawing this week..the duration of the class shortened by 2 hours and everything became so fast! >< thinking back, i quite enjoyed those 5 hour lessons!
This week's drawing. its not very clear.. (stupid camera!) it looked pretty easy! Mind you! its formed by dotting! yes, dot out this drawing! by the end of the 3 hour class, my right arm was already numb! >< but i think its not that bad! hee! I had only 3 more drawing lessons before the final grading.. i guess i will miss those classes! Craps!I guess many people are rushing to finish their fyp..then start writing their reports.. i think my fyp is quite "cui".. insufficient literature reviews and pathetic results! *dead* on the other hand, darling's been doing very well, at least it looks pretty well-done to me.. he's very determined, but also tend to be stressed..whenever he needs to do a presentation, he really does his research, looking for articles and facts to support his views or back himself up.. maybe that is why he is so confident. whereas, i tend to take things easy.. just went google or wiki to do a quick search, then i think its done! that is why, i only know the surface of everything.. if you ask me a question that is more in depth, i will not be able to answer.. -.-
Sometimes, i just admire the way he present himself to people, even in front of strangers! that is something that i could not do at this point of time..but i am trying hard to improve and improve and improve!
I believe one day i can do it!

SOre eyes again! ><I had sore eyes again!~ RED AND SWOLLENED.. when i found out , it was already 12am! darling immediately drove me to Clementi 24hr clinic! the consultation fees was 84 dollars! yes, 84 dolldars from 12am to 7am! what theeee... -_____- so damn expensive!~ i told him there's no need to see a doctor at that time..we could wait till the next day! he insisted. the bill was 107 dollars! just 10 tablets for stoping the itch and allergy and another bottle of anti-biotic eyedrop! eerrrk! 107!! that is one Levis jeans, maybe 2 dresses! many shorts.. but darling said paying 107 is better than loss one eye! true true true... though i think he is a bit paranoid! hee...

I found this video rather hilarious but true! haha..people, if you like the smell of durian, i believe you will like rotten eggs, vomits and sweaty shoes!!! i guess you all must have excellent tolerance towards unpleasant smell! *applause* .. Bye-bye my dear fridge!I sold my fridge last night! *sob* i gave my fridge a huge hug before the buyer came to collect..(i really hugged my fridge!) I hope my fridge will be safe and can remain in good condition in someone else's house.. Darling said he would buy me a new one which would be even taller than him! :D wow..that means i might need to tiptoe to get my stuff?
How about something like this? it is 1cm taller than darling.. ^^ Without a fridge, i cannot store food anymore..so this means i will not be cooking as often as what i used to do.. and NO more cold drinks...NO eggs...NO milk..NO chilli sauce.. Urrm..i believe i can survive without a fridge! because when i stayed in Hall, there's no fridge too! moreover, its only 4 weeks! yupp!
I will miss my own fried Bee hoon with bacon and asparagus!! We bought some bean powder to make tofu! looks alright, right? but i tell you, it tastes HORRIBLE!! it sucks! i will never want to try it again! >< Valentines day without flowers,so?!Today is Valentines Day. We dont have great plans, neither holding up a bouquet of flowers, walking around Orchard road nor having a sumptuous meal in a 5 star hotel.. Valentine's Day has been greatly commercialised in today's society.. FLowers are being essential, and a costly meal is a MUST-HAVE.. i saw an advertisement when i walked pass this florist store, it says "show your love to your loved ones with flowers".. then i asked myself, you only can show your love with flowers? only on 14 Feb?! so if someones loves you, he should give you flowers everyday?! if he doesnt do so, does it mean that he doesnt love you on those days when flowers are not present? Flowers dont last long, they will wilt eventually after 2 weeks... (-.-") if you love someone forever, why not give them something that lasts? most of the girls swoon when their boyfriends show up on their doorsteps with an armful of flowers and a box of heart-shaped chocolates on V-day..i dont understand why..and at the same time, i think that lacks creativity and sincere.. its just some routine on 14 feb..
Some people say, if you really love someone, everyday is Valentines Day.. isn't it true?
To me, romantic love does not necessarily come together with flowers.. things like waking up early to make breakfast, holding hands to do window shopping, wiping his tear while he is chopping garlics and onions.. receiving a simple text msg that says he missis me would make me feel so much in love.. dont you agree?
Right now, i am at Toa Payoh library.. there's this old couple sitting right in front of me..they are discussing some recipes together, the husband is holding the magnifying glass while the wife is slowly reading the book, how lovely and sweet! i believe V-day is not significant to them at all and they dont need V-day to show their love to their partner...yet they can be so loving..

Darling decorated the house with balloons.. actually i am quite scared of balloons.. but its really sweet and nice of him for doing this!~ lov'ing it...
We cooked our own V-day meal at home.. big and fresh button mushrooms and RIB EYE STEAK.. its been marinated over night.. Mixed vegetables...healthy! All are my favourite!

Another closer look! i think its really a successful one compared to the one that we made in my home during last christmas..so the moral of the story is.. if you are not an expert, please choose those steak that is thinner..or smaller piece...

the last 5-hour drawing classI attended the last 5 hour drawing class yesterday. we learnt shading! i think its the toughest thing for me... -.- but i did another good job yeah!~
not too bad, yea?! Career FairI went for career fair today! it's held in NTU...After walking rounds and rounds and rounds and collecting all the brochures, i realise i am in the wrong course -.- we can hardly find a company that is really hiring environmental engineers! though some of the HR people would tell us nicely to send in our resumes directly to the company because they MIGHT need us in the future, so when is "the future"? i guess these resumes will end up in someone else's trash box... and then got deleted forever... the economy is bad.. but i am still staying positive and optimistic! i am not rushing to get job.. i dont have to.. but somehow, my schoolmates and friends have given me a little pressure as they've already sent in their resumes to various companies..its only february! and i feel that employers will not have the patience to wait for you till june or july..UNLESS you are damn excellent...so what is the hurry?!!
I found out soemthing else today!..MOE only offers teaching jobs to Local, PR and Malaysians..okay, fine...
I attended my third drawing class yesterday..another 5-hour class...shag shag shag!! I stood for 4 hours! and only got to sit down occasionally...we learnt perspective drawing..for the first part of the class, we're given about 1.5 hours to draw thumbnail-sized drawings at the side of the paper...just to draw planes with different perspective.. each exercise was about 2 minutes... sound easy uh?!! i didnt really understand how to get the ratio and angles correct, the teacher stood next to me and kept saying "i have the feeling you dont get it at all" "what is the ratio?" "you sure?" "try again?" "you still dont get it"! arrrgh! it drove me crazy again!! -.-" i felt super stressed.. goodness! it's supposed to be a relax course!!
After the break, we started our 3-hour session!we were to make use of those basic principles to draw out the whole thing..(i dont know what this thing is called..) i will show it in the picture below...some multi-layed trays to keep our drawings...throughout the entire drawing session, the teacher didnt come and "disturb" me..i guess he must have given up..but towards the end of the class, he actually showed my drawing to the class and said its a good example!! hee...phew..what a relief!!

Drawing ClassI am taking a drawing elective this semester! i thought it'd be fun and relax.. but it drove me crazy after the first lesson!~
We were asked to draw a skeleton during the first lesson..it was not graded but the teacher wanted to benchmark our standards.. its pretty much like free-hand drawing.. the poor skeleton lied on the floor still.. i felt myself even poorer!~ because i had no idea how to start, where to start... -.- it was really a difficult one.. so many different bones, so detailed.. after scratching head for quite a long time, i started to draw... after 2 hour of focusing on my drawing, i managed to draw something on the white paper! but no matter how i looked at it, i felt something's wrong with my drawing! i think mine is a cuter skeletion..
cuter, right?! agree?? *nod heads* But why did this poor skeleton drive me crazy?!! after the class, the teacher grouped us into different categories! he called me out of the class and told me that i am those who so-called draw from memories! in the context of this course, we need to draw from LIVE... Realistic drawings.. not creative drawings.. -.- he gave an example, if i were to asked to the side view of person, i would draw 2 eyes, because in my mind, human beings have 2 eyes.. Grrrrrrrrrrrr!~ i felt sooo stressed after this 3-hour lesson! roarrrrr ><
Darling's speciality!~ chicken and mushroom spaghetti.. he cooked this for me after my drawing class...i felt so much better :D I attended the second drawing class yesterday, feeling kind of nervous before the class..but i think its so much better this time, though the duration of the class was 5 hour!.. from 5:30 to 10:30pm..fun still :D we learnt to use new material to draw! say bye-bye to pencil and say hello to charco...

I am very into cooking nowadays :D sometimes, i really feel reluctant to eat outside food...but still, most of the time, we have to eat outside food.. -.-

Today's lunch.. fried egg with prawns, BIG PRAWNS...kai lan and bak ku teh..drooooling? *nod heads* Lunar New Year 大年初一After visiting darling's grandpa house, we went to River Hong Bao...this year's river hong bao is held on the floating platform at marina and the size of it seemed to be much smaller than last year.. maybe because of the global recession... we reached there at 11:30pm...but it closed at 12am -.- we managed to walk around and took some pictures before the lights were switched off.. (they really switched off ALL the lights at 12am).. we could see the singapore flyer too! it was still moving at 12am!
